I have a book but don't keep my cards in. You can get them on A and H fairly cheap. Left shirt pocket is Yellow, back short pocket red. Right shirt pocket is book and a yellow and red card for second bookable offence.

I'm pretty sure they're thermal... They aren't particularly tight or made of the material like you get on those skin layers

I think it is fine to wear a long sleeve thermal shirt under short sleeved referee shirt. I sometimes wear 2! Also have a pair of undershorts which make a huge difference. I don't wear gloves. Have in the past but can just get in the way.

Yeah but if a player was to do that, it's a caution for changing the field of play... Likewise, if they make a little hole so it is easier to kick the ball.

Two questions I would be asking...: 1) Why did the home team want to change the ball? 2) What's wrong with using another ball as long as it is a match ball and you are happy that it meets regulations?

I try to avoid cards where possible up to and including U13. I use them if I need to but am less likely to than with an U16 game. However this is also because at that age you're only going to have one or two fouls and not really any dissent!

I do U16s and I'm 17... It's not always easy! Be assertive and confident. There are always one or two who will be challenging what you say. Captains are either really helpful or really not at that age. You will find that out early on so if they are use them, if not avoid them! Don't be worried...
