    GK handling DOGSO

Thanks for the replies. The referee took his time to think about it, presumably speaking to his AR via comms as well, surely he was having some doubts. I mean it wasn't an obvious case like if the GK had ran outside the box and handled to stop the ball going straight to an attacker. This seems...

    GK handling DOGSO

Incident at 18:45. Championship deciding match. GK collects ball inside the penalty area but momentum takes him outside and he drops the ball. Red/white attacker 5 yards away when the GK commits the handling offence. Assuming you as the ref have decided it's handball, is it also a red card for...

    A-League Comms

At the very least with the introduction of VAR next season they should release audio from VAR decisions like the Dutch FA have done:

VAR - Ajax vs Real Madrid

It's a binary decision (like offside), clear and obvious doesn't apply. Checking for a possibility of handball as well. Let's just hope they learn from this and have cameras in line with the touchlines in future!

    Wind assisted back-pass

When does this whole new phase of play begin - once the GK has touched it with their feet, or does the ball need to be kicked 5/10 yards away before it can be picked up?

    Wind assisted back-pass

I think it was more to do with the fact that the kick was sliced - there was an angle behind the goal on Sportscene that showed it more clearly.

    Wind assisted back-pass

Not as windy as Arbroath further up the coast, but still enough to cause the GK to catch the ball after being kicked to him - good decision by the ref. However, shouldn't the position of the IDFK be where it was caught - ie the goal area line, rather than near the edge of the penalty area?

    Taking your assistants advice

When all 22 players on the pitch think it's a goal? :)
