A lot of County Cup matches are handed out on "it's your turn"; so if you got one last year, don't expect another for at least 1/2 seasons. They tend on allow you to referee once in any cup competition. So if you have done a junior cup, you need serious promotions to get the more senior cup...

Sounds like the FA are repeating the errors of the 1990's, where they want fit referees and thought they could teach them to be good referees. Left us with Durkin and Riley as our top referees - not a good sign. Yes, fitness is vital but ability is so much more needed.

Should you use cards for U12's and below - Yes, but depends on the offence. The players have idols in the EPL, so do understand about Red and Yellow cards. We should not refuse to use them just because they are "little children". They want to play like their hero's and be treated as proper...
