    Palace v Man City FAC

And that's a complete dive. The team have made a hash of this.

    Palace v Man City FAC

As hilarious as it is that's in the top 5 VAR gaffes I've ever seen. Every ref in the country was expecting a red.

    Palace v Man City FAC

That's being given as a red 99/100. I'm amazed at that decision.

    BTN v NEW

I'll reserve my criticism for Newcastle's attempted cheating (x2) rather than blame the referee in this case.

    Hearts v Dundee Utd

That commentator sounds like the idiot that sits behind you in the stand and talks utter s***e for 90 mins whilst you roll your eyes.

    Liverpool vs Everton

Surely SFP is the one offence that cannot be managed? You can manage (ignore) OFFINABUS, you can even manage certain VC incidents. Attempting to manage SFP is a failure of your most important job (protect the players). At what level does "The Event" overtake player safety? Way above my level...

    Liverpool vs Everton

He knew exactly what he was doing. Easy yellow card at least. Ref looked nervous and indecisive but we're now reaping the results of MO and AT refereeing every single big game since I think Clattenburg packed it in.

    Fawley v Ash United

I have never ran a line in step 6 so am no expert, but surely this isn't a indication of the level of football? It's been many years since I ran a line in the Manchester Premier League and Leicestershire Senior League (Step 7?) and I swear it was miles above this. Maybe I've exaggerated it in my...

    Lyon vs Brest

That has to be the worst edited clip I've ever seen. No idea what I'm supposed to have seen.

    Crystal Palace vs Millwall

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13320677/jean-philippe-mateta-injury-fa-considering-longer-ban-for-challenge-by-millwall-goalkeeper-liam-roberts I wonder if this will happen. Standard ban doesn't seem appropriate. I'm trying to think of a more dangerous "challenge" post 2000 in...

    Crystal Palace vs Millwall

What are the official qualifications for a referee selector? Because it looks like an old boys' club from here. The "Well he must be doing something right if he keeps getting the games" argument is just lazy. Why even have a forum then. As a Man Utd fan having to watch the worst GK in the EPL...

    Crystal Palace vs Millwall

MO bailed out by VAR and his poor season continues. To not even see it as a caution is an absolute howler.

    Man Utd vs Ipswich

The red card was for the way the tackle panned out. We all say that shouldn't matter but it does at this level. It's clearly not excessive force. Endangering the safety is a stretch but the only category we can blag this into. Same tackle will happen this weekend and I won't be able to post...

    Man Utd vs Ipswich

So you're issuing a red if that ball doesn't spin away and there's no contact with the man?

    Man Utd vs Ipswich

Fair enough. I think our original (TV) angle is what the 4O would have seen. I wouldn't be confident enough to be calling for SFP from that angle personally. I'd be saying USB and hope I was right.

    Man Utd vs Ipswich

I'd also add, you're making out it's the clearest SFP. This is the challenge. Looks well within the realms of a normal challenge for me. The ball slips out, the defender gets his studs caught in the turf and it all looks horrible from there. You could argue if you go in like this there is always...

    Man Utd vs Ipswich

Being harsh here. Ref doesn't have a cat in hell's chance of spotting this. Only the 4th has a chance to see this and once he's giving advising RCs you might as well just send the ref to the monitor. The system has worked and we're still not happy!

    Celtic Vs Bayern

Holy moly opinions are something else. The sooner computers take over refereeing the better cos that is the most nail on foul I've ever seen (ignoring the offside aspect).

    Leeds vs Millwall

You been watching this season? This is (rightly or wrongly) NEVER getting a VAR overturn.
  20. deusex

    Leeds vs Millwall

This is a mistimed tackle with exactly the amount of force you would expect. I'm not saying a red is wrong but this is not excessive force.
