4-3 How many assessor assessments required?

If you're close... good luck! Let us know if you hear anything please!

    Manchester City v Brighton

I don't disagree with the sentiment... it's blatant deliberate cheating, and ultimately it's just ruining turf unnecessarily because a professional footballer is not likely to not realise and miss their penalty as a result. With that said, with the drama of a penalty award and what can follow...

    Annual level 5-4

Yeah you don’t need to worry if they’ve told you they’ve nominated you to the FA. The money, if charged, goes to the county FA to help cover their costs in getting you observed. It’s not a requirement of the FA

    Annual level 5-4

If I read it correctly, I think that means that he's heard from an RA group that you need to pay to get 5-4 promotion, which presumably relates to most county FAs charging a fee to apply. If you've been nominated, that bit is already taken care of.

    Annual level 5-4

Your county FA should, by now, have informed you whether they are nominating you to The FA for level 4. If they haven't, I'd contact your RDO and ask. If they have, then you wouldn't have heard yet I don't believe, but there's no set date to hear by. You'd imagine it will be in the next week or...

    Everton vs Wolves

I this incident I genuinely don't think the puller was hoping for any reaction as I genuinely don't think it was intentional, just instinctive as I said. Fully supportive of the red card as things stand, don't get me wrong. I just think I personally wouldn't mind the expectation changing.

    Everton vs Wolves

Maybe we'll get football back to how it was in the 80s where long hair is the norm as a sort of cheat code 😆 I get that it has no place in the game, and fully understand that with the way things are currently, it's a red card. I just think that sometimes a player in the air may instinctively...

    Everton vs Wolves

are you sure there was no reaction? The player whose hair was pulled goes mad. Perhaps no reaction elsewhere because nobody else saw it. With that said, I would be supportive of a directive that incidents like this are a caution, not a red. It’s an instinctive pull as part of an aerial...

    Law Question

The idea was that on the 3rd one he decided to just before the player left, but had no opportunity to show the card until after 😆 But yes, just trying nitpick the laws and have some *fun* on a boring day

    Law Question

That wasn't intentional, all 3 were intended in scenarios with neutral ARs, just my wording! Agree with your point though...

    Law Question

Ding ding. So obviously number 1 is fine. Number 2, by that wording is debatable, as you could say the referee only decided to send off once the player had left the field of play, so you could say fine, but by the literal wording of that there's a small argument that number 3 is not ok...

    Lazio v Napoli Red cards

Hard to see the point of contact on the first foul, but assuming it's not too sinister, I think a stern warning / reminder he's already on a caution would be sufficient. With regards to the second, I think he's swayed by the huge pile in that occurs. The thing I hate most is that he holds the...

Level 4 referee averaging above 73

When you say you're ranked 19 overall, is that in your pool (which I'd imagine it is) or in the country? (Which I don't know how you'd know) As a level 4, you probably need to be, regardless of your average, in the top 3 or 4 of your pool on the correctly weighted overall merit table (which we...

    Law Question

Agree, it just specifies he can stay on to take the penalty with no mention of how the injury came about, it just feels to me that it should be for cases where the injury was a result of the challenge resulting in the penalty, but it isn't. Anyone at all see where I may or may not be going with...

    Law Question

You won't be feeling stupid, fair chance I will 😆 and ultimately, despite what the law book says, I'd fully advocate still dismissing in any situation.

    Law Question

It was a bit of a leading question. I'll await a few more responses before explaining where I was going with it

    Law Question

Hi All A few questions... 1. Outside the view of the referee, a player commits an act of violent conduct with the ball in play. At the next stoppage, a different player receives a physio assessment and leaves the field of play for treatment. Just as the referee is due to restart play, their AR...

    Tourette's

I wouldn't advise them without consent, however I would have a chat with the player or club in question to see if consent can be obtained and advise them that it is in their interest. It's a difficult one, as we can't allow someone to have free reign to say whatever they want because they have...
