Is it me or is that a FIFA badge the official is wearing? Opinion wise, the writeup makes it sound worse than it is... That said, at that level, in fact at any level, you would expect the officials to know the laws.

Not 100% sure but I think that it depends on the league rules. From my experience it has been a said number of subs that can be used on a rolling basis, but it must be done in normal sub procedure, i.e. stoppage in play, half way line.

There is a very heated debate between me and Mattyonthewhistle somewhere if you wan't to open that old can of worms :P

4th official to check boots, jewellery etc on the half way line, then as soon as he is ready, he tells the senior AR who signals for a sub. Takes no more time than a regular sub, its just that there may be more of them.

I know its easy to say, but don't worry about it. Just because you didn't get a final doesn't necessarily mean that you are in the bottom 50%. Often, the people who appoint matches work in mysterious ways. Besides, not everybody will always get a final, look at Mark Halsey, never got the FA Cup...

Don't worry about, not many people know about the change! Not sure how the English system works tbh to be able to compare!

U12 match about 4 years ago. Hadn't done a junior match in ages, but did it as a favour. Play comes towards me, 11 year old slides and catches me. I had to go off :(
