Maybe I should have been clearer in what I meant. You could justify either outcome individually in law (penalty for HB or caution for delaying the restart if that way inclined) but no way to justify both as the handball offence wouldn't be cautionable

I don't agree. Confrontational means to disagree aggressively. Martinelli was neither disagreeing, nor behaving aggressively. I genuinely don't think he commits a sending off offence. 99.99% of physical contact with a match official hearings will relate to actual confrontational actions / abuse.
