Ok I'm never going to referee the Champions League Final but then again the referee at the Champions League Final is never going to referee on the floating pitch at Cardiff Bay Champions...
It was 6x40 metre sprints in 6 seconds
Then 150 metres in 35 seconds, then walk 50 metres in 35 seconds x 16
Easy for some I know but I was knackered at the end.
The dreaded fitness test took place tonight for the FAW Gwent FA referees. Glad to say I passed...just! (Don't think it was a good idea to go on a week's all inclusive holiday & come home 3 days beforehand though) Thanks to all the other referees for pushing me & each other all the way. Oh yeah...
I`m selling a Legea 2016 FAW embroidered Referee kit in size Large. The kit comprises of a short sleeved slimfit black Referee shirt, black Legea shorts & a long sleeved Legea training top. Both tops are professionally embroidered by the FAW preferred supplier. I`m looking for £30 including p+p...
Just been appointed as an assistant for the forthcoming u17s girls Wales v Republic of Ireland international. Honoured & excited. This along with a County u14s semi final, an u16s final & a senior final, this year is getting better & better.

A quick question for you all:
I have my first couple of pre season games this weekend and was wondering what fees do fellow Referees charge for these types of games? Do you just charge the same as a league...
Thanks for all your replies, much appreciated. Just been told that I'm up for the junior referee award with my senior league so I'm even more glad to have taken up the middle. Ill let you all know how I get on. Fingers crossed.
This was my first year as a qualified referee. After refereeing my sons junior team for a few years as a club official I decided to take the plunge.
My first years stats are these:
51 games (seniors & juniors)
1 cup final (middle)
Not bad for a first season. I've really enjoyed my games this...
Last game of 2014 for me today. My 3rd allocation of the day after the first two were called off. Both teams have just turned up in their Christmas Jumper's. Hopefully it'll be a friendly game?
Good luck to everyone in your games this weekend.
