Junior/Youth A wet game

Somehow today I had a Welsh Schools FA Cup match at my old comp today, possibly the wettest playable pitch I've ever seen but still produced a good game with a good comeback from the away team to almost force ET/Pens but thankfully it didn't happen.

Pontarddulais, pitch it's self was played but very wet! Left a nice mess on my boots

You can't claim travelling expenses if you take half the field of play home with you in your boot bag

Nothing worse than soaking wet boots - potential for a nasty cat food smell to develop in them...

One thing that's frustrating about wet pitches as that normally as a referee you can stay mud-free, but when playing on bogs your socks are as bad as the players'!
