An interview with Mike Riley, theres nothing in there that would be new to us as referees, and as far as being a "fan" i think all this has done is to infuriate them more, questions were asked in which Mike complete side stepped and basically quoted from "guidelines".

I think people are pissing and moaning because Mr. Riley is differentiating between the Premier League and grassroots football. Grassroots players (and referees) like to think they're equal to the professionals which, obviously, we're not. He's done a good job, so far as I can tell.
