Thoughts on the red? I was watching it at the time and on seeing the first replay thought he could be in bother. The more I watch it the less sure I am though.

Saw this elsewhere. Does look like he’s struck him in the face, or at least around the head.

Admittedly needed the replay to see it myself. Initial viewing thought a caution would suffice.

Referee has been absolutely played there.
Defender practically has him in a choke hold and the ref is doing nothing, then sends of the retaliation that is always going to happen.
I'd have been going crazy on my whistle to show I've seen what the defender has done.
Red for both or caution for both. Or be less passive and it would have been one caution for the defender.
