8-0 away win in a regional ladies game for me today.
Three yellows so not totally boring, although I was a bit of a ******* giving the first one for delaying the restart. Slightly forgot it wasn’t the national league!
But it was also the most well spirited and enjoyable match to referee. Great rapport with players and between teams. Often those one sided ones get a bit nasty towards the end as the losing team tires and gets fed up.
Genuinely one of those I think every referee needs once a season to cleanse all the other stuff that gets thrown our way.
