Thanks everyone. I currently use a Samsung smart watch with the refsix app which is excellent, does kill the battery though, also worried about using it in heavy rain. Hence why I'm after an alternative.

What specific model is your samsung watch.
If you use refsix can you let me know what the battery life is like after one game?
I have the ticwatch pro and using refsix on airplane mode the watch is pretty much dead after the game.

If you have a Samsung watch that runs Wear OS (the 4 series and above, I think) try the Soccer Referee Pro app. It has battery saving options and has everything I need.
