Best way to dry boots/ avoid smell

Hey everyone,
So, the missus is kicking off with me saying my boots are lifting from a dampy smell after games.

Any ideas on the best way to dry and avoid smells? Currently just let them air dry.

You've got the good old fashioned way of stuffing them with newspaper to draw out any moisture, then when dry a good going over with Febreze.
