This seems like a good idea that if used in the right way could reduce the problems with abuse in a game but the real question is would it really be cost effective? Would it be another exclusive for PGMOL Referees?
Would anyone actualy wear them?

I would especially help at grassroots level

Never going to be at grass roots, again it will be higher levels of the game if it ever happened.

If they want to stamp out dissent and other ref abuse then rugby style laws to really penalise teams would have a massive impact.
