Changing my mind based on players reactions

I've done the 'gotta talk to the AR' option.

Sometimes the AR says, "You were right" and that makes it easy. Call stays.

AR says say it different...corner. Why? They had a better look.

No clue...okay, could go with the flow and change to corner, but I prefer to keep the AR conference to 1 in a game. Goal kick.

Now, there are videos of good sportsmamship showing a player kick it out believing the call was wrong.

So, go with goal kick. Maybe the other team will kick it out for a corner out of good sportsmanship.

I had this today! Gave the corner but then it was obvious I’d got it wrong from reactions so I changed my mind and said “I knew it came off red guys I just forgot which way the teams were playing! My bad I signalled the wrong thing”

Everyone accepted it
That’s a much better sell.

What we learn from this thread is: never try to openly sell a decision based on the movements or reactions of players.

That has to stay our little secret!
