Clattering the striker AFTER the shot!!!

Anyone watch Man Utd v West Ham?
Twice a striker was simply wiped out in the box after taking a shot!
Why has this never been stamped out by the FA?
I give pens for these in my games and it causes bloody murder. Players think anything after the shot is fair game and who can blame them.
Can you think of ONE high profile incident of a pen being given for a late challenge AFTER the shot is away?

I guess it depends where the ball is, if he scores or the ball goes out for a goal kick/corner before he's wiped out you can't award the penalty as the ball wasn't in play.

However if the ball is in play then the penalty should be the correct course of action.

Of course whether the premier league officials would ever give these penalties is another matter.

For me, if he scores then goal and YC if needed. If not, penalty and then the approiate card or none at all
