I'm level 8/Y currently is it worth looking at club marks for the past season or is it something I should leave alone as I know some teams strongly disagreed with some big calls I made?

At youth level, club marks are of limited benefit, and in any case all you would normally be able to access is your season average.
I suggest "Don't bother!"

No. Don’t worry about that too much at least until you get to level 5. Teams will always disagree/challenge your decisions.
Work with your coach( if you have one) and gain experience for now
