First game of the season!

Had my first game of the season today! It went really well, no hard decisions to make and the game run really smoothly

On that note, how was everyone's first game of the season?

First 2 have been really wet. Still trying to dry my boots out and will fabreeze the bajaysus out of them before the next game as they have that damp cat food smell currently.

What you want in the first game! Haven't had mine yet, got a friendly on Wednesday and presumably a league game Sat morning once the ref sec gets round to allocating.

I had a match at the Sheffield United academy yesterday as my first match of the season.
It was only U13's but was great to get back into it.
It was my first match with NAR's one of which was a level 7-5 assessor so he said he'd do a sort of unofficial assessment on me while he was on the line. He though I did really well and have a lot of potential but said he would've ripped me to shreds for not selling a penalty decision in the last minute

All in all it went really well.

Got my 10th league and cup game of the season at Malvern Town tomorrow. First of the season we came off for a thunderstorm overhead.
