Was actually at this game - my first away game in 2 1/2 years. Last away game? Also Fulham :)

Just nipping in to make an observation. Twice on Saturday the referee over ruled a well placed Assistant Referee on the direction of a throw-in.

First time, no impact, except for Assistant's embarrassment. Second time, team awarded the throw moved quickly towards goal and were awarded a corner. From the corner a goal was scored in the 5th minute of added time.

Over ruling an Assistant was previously a rarity. For it to happen twice in one game, seems highly unusual.

Another incident saw the referee "see" a push in the penalty area after a disputed free kick was floated in. The free kick was awarded after a late flag by the Assistant who was overruled on the first over ruled throw in mentioned above.

To the trained, if somewhat out of practice, eye, it looked like there was a little friction in the team in black.

I have been to a number of matches as a fan, and it seems recently (last two seasons) there is less and less involvement from the assistants. They seem to be getting more and more like club liners every season. Not sure why

Were the over rules correct? And if so how obvious were the errors?

Agree that twice in one game, especially when they have comms to use is not a good look.

Difficult to say as I was 75m with a diagonal view from the first one and 50m+ in a straight line from the last contact for the second one. One went in Leeds' favour and the other went in Fulham's.
