Just a couple of weeks ago I'd totally agreed with Darren Fletcher about yesterday's sending off. "It's the first minute, ref! Calm down...No red card, surely!"

Fast forward a few weeks and having almost completed my basic referee training (LOTG exam nailed yesterday!) I'm, like, the referee got this spot on. 1st minute or last minute, LOTG state the player must go (DOGSO)... Stop moaning. Get on with the game. Players fault the game changed, not the refs!

Will I ever be able to watch football in the same way again?!

Painfully true or in fact referee a game again as you constantly pick fault with your own performance (or congratulate yourself if something goes well).
