So, season started for us three weeks ago. I've been struggling with my calves so took it easy doing a couple of lines for ladies league until I feel better.
Improved a lot, and this weekend given a Fed Div 2 game as AR1, with a view to running a middle the following week.
So this morning (Friday) I head out at 9am, for ten minutes, to get some milk. I don't get home until 3pm having picked up 2ltrs milk, been interviewed, driven 20 mins each way to produce a urine sample for a drug test, given a site induction, had my fingerprint taken and given an employee number and a job that starts tomorrow (Saturday!).
Damn, just as I was getting back into it I go and get a bloody job! What's that all about?
Just about every weekend until the middle of the season I'll be working.
Hell, if I'd known, I'd have sent my wife out to get the bloody milk!
