Just had an email from my ref co-ordinator passing on feedback they were emailed after last week's game. Basically the player complimented me on my foul calling and general positioning and wanted it to reach official ears.
I did feel very good about how that game went, but after so much getting posted on here about the downsides and lack of respect in refereeing, it is very pleasing to be able to record the (much rarer) examples of when it is able to cheer you up immensely.
