Hand gestures

Had a gentleman indicate his displeasure at conceding a penalty today by using the tosser hand gesture. He had been arguing the penalty and I was about to caution for dissent as he was getting on my nerves when he made the gesture (I was looking right at him).

Red card, off you go.

Not sent anyone off for this before. I have not seen that hand gesture for years come to think of it

Yes. Funnily enough after the game he said

"Okay it was a penalty, but the hand gesture was not at you, it was to the player who had been fouled who was mouthing off"

He thought that would make it okay

Regardless, he was looking right at me when it happened, I have no doubt it was aimed at me.
