What does the report have in it?

Most leagues in AU use a system that require both teams to also report almost all things a referee reports; goals, cards, subs (if applicable) etc. No send off or incident reports though.

This is not a bad thing. It catches any errors made early if all three reports don't match.

In which country are you refereeing? Systems vary from place to place.

Asking clubs to submit the referee mark is standard. On one of the leagues I'm involved in we ask the clubs to complete a form on Full Time listing the score, who played, goal scorers, any discipline, sporting mark for opposition, pitch quality mark, and referee mark. This is then cross referenced with the referee report, and is necessary as it isn't uncommon to report even basic things like the score incorrectly.
