Seems like they schedule this show randomly(thought they would let the upcoming round occur and show it during the international break) but in anycase the clips that have been shown tonight includes:
The Everton overturned penalty against Man united.
Newcastle handball penalty Vs Forest via VAR.
Man United red card against Ipswich
Bournemouth red card against Wolves
Attacking handball in the Spurs v Man City game.
Just a few points for me going by those clips. I think the VAR in the Everton v Man United game was quite clear and quite rightly intervened as the referee made a clear and obvious error in thinking there was a foul against Maguire but as everyone acknowledged, the VAR perhaps could of shown another angle for the De Ligt shirt pull but in fairness, the referee never asked for another angle.
It is interesting how subjective even something like camera angles are as demonstrated in the Man United red card incident. Craig Pawson though this is the best angle and Darren England straight away said that wasn't a good angle. AVAR also saved the VAR somewhat because the VAR was ready to check complete until the AVAR commented he didn't think it was a good tackle.
I also thought Graham Scott was way too forensic on the factual handball, he convinced himself it wasn't a handball through a frame by frame process until he saw the second potential handball which the AVAR thought it did hit the hand so eventually decided to stick with the refs call.
