First port of call should always be to read the relevant law - and upon doing so, why would you think an IFK is a possibility?
Not being harsh - always ask on here if you're not sure, but when uncertain about a law always look it up yourself first
It's a retake - the ball isn't in play until the kick is taken in accordance with the laws AND the ball leaves the PA. Until that happens, no action can change it from a GK.
