Names that sound like 'ref'

Had a U18 girls match this afternoon, where about 5 girls on each team were called Beth.

This caused me some issues because I thought I was constantly being shouted!

Anybody had similar issues??

Yeah, your not alone. I have had this a few times this season and tbh I catch it early on. If they start calling it constanly then I have a quick look to see if anything is wrong and if not then just carry on. Once I know its not me they're calling then I get used to it and ignore it. (When they need me the shout gets louder ☺)
