Hi all

U12 game, never expect much, however before this one i was thinking it would either be the "usual" or it could get incredibly nasty. 2 teams from the same area for context. Answer is it got nasty, but not too nasty.

First half red manager complains about a non-existent offside, other manager starts popping off at him a little bit. I have to go and tell them both to shut up.

Similar thing again, other red manager waving at me as if he's stuck on a sinking ship after a "push", which would've been very soft if i'd have given it, and it was in the centre circle. This was near HT so i pulled him aside to tell him that both of them are on last warnings at the break.

Second half, shoulder barge goes in from red player and plays it back to keeper. As i turn to look at the keeper i hear parents go up in raptures, i then turn around to see both of them pushing each other. A couple more get involved but it dissipates quicky. If I hadn't have been on the whistle so quickly maybe it would've ended differently.

Obviously i've only seen half of it and there was an apparent kick from the red player, which i say that i didn't see it so can't give anything. Isolate both players after blue player tries to storm off, and get names and yellow.

Had to go over and tell managers that they have to control their players better. Still a physical game but nothing more of note until FT. Maybe should have YC one of the red coaches, but they were ok for the rest of the game.

Any thoughts? Thought yellow was best as that was all i could see..

Sounds very level headed and well managed well done.
