New ref after experience

My son is 16 and booked on the foundation FA ref course o 27th October. His club have asked if he could ref an u15 game. Can he do this before the face to face course?

Yes, but I don't believe he can take payment as he is yet to register with his County FA, so will be a referee from the club rather than a neutral referee.

You/he should make sure the Referee Appointments Secretary is aware of the game and the referee's name (if it is a league where appointments are made by the league usually) and both clubs need to know he is a club referee, not a qualified official referee.
