1. Law states strikes or attempts to strike.....red card correct

2. pearch...yellow card for trip correct...however what was missed was second yellow for simulation...second yellow= red card

as im a Newcastle fan i am disgusted at Pearch

Some of the easiest decisions MA has ever had to make I reckon.
Carroll should have won an Oscar for his Dive, Reina was a red all day long. Perch, yellow was correct.

And as for Kenny Dalglish, I often wonder what game he's watching.

The photo I saw showed clear head contact between Reina and Perch. How much is another matter but as there was contact it is not simulation. So imo MA made the correct call. USB caution for Perch for the trip and dismissal for Reina for VC.
