Offside Or not?

Guys please check the video in link.
It was given a penalty on 9:30 of the video but it was a player in an offside position.
I need your opinions.

It was clearly the player who played the ball through, that was then tripped and prevented from playing it further.
You might argue the PIOP is "interfering with an opponent by ... challenging an opponent for the ball" but that doesn't occur until the first attacker has been fouled anyway, so the PK is still the correct decision.
 
He's given it for the first challenge on the edge of the area so I suppose that happens before the offside offence, all quite tight though. Bigger question is whether it was even a foul.
 
Assuming the referee sees that as a foul - and it looks on the replay like there's pretty clear contact that brings the player down - then it's a penalty for me. I don't see that the player in an offside position does enough to trigger an offside offence, before the foul occurs.
