i mark Real Tennis games ... generally less aggro from the players than football, but there are times !
And i used to referee squash matches, lets and strokes called all sorts of havoc... players walking off and throwing tantrums not uncommon

Not beyond reason. My sister is an umpire for women's international cricket. Also regularly gets the Roses women's match when it is this side of the hills.she could umpire at the other end ?
