POWER!

So on your logic, as long as everything is attached but lets say the tracking is out 90mm, it would pass? If yes, please let me know where your MOT tester is so I can get my fleets of vehicles (circa 4k) to avoid at all costs.

Correct. If the tracking was out by 90mm, providing the wheels didn't foul the wheel arches on either lock it would have to pass.

Tracking is not part of an MOT whatsoever. The only readings that are allowed to be taken are headlamp aim, brake efficiency, emissions and tread depths.

The rest is purely visual, no adjustments can be made as part of the test.

you could just all do what any good motorist does - service yearly with MOT, 6 monthly oil change and health check!

Forget the service and health check. Just not worth the money. 6 month oil changes are prob not required in the UK.
Do what your manual tells you to do, nothing more. They are smart guys!
If you do nothing else, change your oil and filter yearly (or every 10k) and coolant every 3years (or every 30k)

Also, anyone driving with a headlight out is a massive w***er.
