Hi,
I have recently been asked to provide a 'Referee CV'.
Now I have bits of information ready to include but am unsure about the format and what other content I should include?
Has anybody had to complete one previously and could advise on what to put?
I would use the same format as a cv for a job. Head it up with your name and contact details. Next make a personal statement describing yourself. Move on to list any key skills you would use refereeing. Next list your experience as a referee detailing the leagues you officiate or have officiated on followed by your key achievements such as honours appointments (finals, semi finals, promotion and relegation games). Also list any other roles you have within football such as coach or player. Next detail when and where you took your course and finish off with some information on other interests to show that you're not a boring obsessive.
