Hi guys, i am from Norway and have recently bought some refstech electronic flags, and was wondering if u guys are happy with the flags, and some info about how the flags feel for ar, and for the main official. Is the arm strap for the electronic reicever unit comfortabale or is it better to use tape. :)

The Ref Stop
Fella who runs Refstech is pretty local to me so a lot of refs round here use em. The arm strap is alright tbh, but fiddly with the hinge/pins if you open it up in a last-minute battery panic. I cut an arm off an under layer and use it to sit the pack in tbh.

Handles make your hands smell (like balloons - personal ick), they’re like bloody parachutes on a windy day, and buttons are rather sensitive (but don’t seem to just fall apart like touchline)… overall they’re a solid 7/10 for that price.

Yeah i feel like with the ervocoms my hands smells like **** too, but it may be with all electronic flags, yeah i wondered about getting the macron baselayer with the holder on the arm for the electronic receiver unit.

I know two people who use that Macron undershirt and both swear by it. Had slipped my mind until you mentioned it

But another question different topic do u know wich refeerees that will be representing enland in the world cup, in Norway we have one referee and to ar that will be representing and the last time a referee from norway was representing was for 12 years ago

I have them, have not had any real issues so far (bought second hand and used all season). Don't use the supplied strap, and have removed it so just use tubigrip on the arm.

Batteries last around 5-6 games for arm pack, and changed once in each flag this year.

do u think these are okay
A 9V battery is a 9V battery in terms of powering. They will all work, some will work longer than others, some might be rechargeable, but down to personal choice. I always personally used Duracell batteries in my buzzer flags as they lasted longer than cheaper brands, I'd rather pay the premium to change them less often. I went through a spell of using supermarket own brand and gave up as they were running out of juice too frequently.
