Real controversy in this one. Bergvall, already on a caution, absolutely takes out Tsimikas with what can only be described as a reckless challenge. Stuart Attwell plays advantage but then doesn't go back to caution Bergvall.

Tsimikas needed treatment following the foul so had to go off after having had treatment. Whilst he was waiting his 30 seconds to come back on Spurs break and Brergvall, who really shouldn't have still been on the pitch, scores. And to further add to the Liverpool annoyance the attack came down their left side where they had a Tsimikas shaped hole.

Can't really find any way to support Attwell here. I can only assume he viewed the challenge as SPA rather than reckless so felt he couldn't go back to caution, but I've found him to be the worst offender for playing advantage for SPA after nothing fouls and then going back to caution so I'm far from convinced this was the case.

Really poor decision. Unlucky it ended up with him scoring...but it did, and he's been panned for it (rightly so).

The first yellow was a poor decision though imo, Diaz dived.

"Trips or attempts to trip" resulting in SPA absolutely covers the first one IMO.

And yeah, bottling/missing the second is a really basic mistake. It's remarkable how uncontroversial this being a mistake has been.

First caution wrong, 2nd non-caution wrong. 2 wrongs don’t make a right.

Attwell never been good enough. Probably one of the worst at detecting SFP as well

But we were absolutely pants, so can’t complain we lost.

Did he actually play advantage? I watched all the footage I could but I didn’t catch it.

What about the 97th min penalty appeal? Looks like a very easy penalty, clear hack to the leg carelessly.

Yep, it's a pen. Pretty clear kick with obvious contact.
