Sub...Sub...Sub!

First junior tournament yesterday defence about to take throw-in, hear from the Coaches bench, "sub....sub....sub" so blow and ask him to wait, your team wants to sub, look round at bench who all look bemused, ask them if they subbing, look back even more bemused....said you asked for sub ! Turns out one of their players is called Sub! Oops!!

Yeah. Had a team who had a player with Ref as nickname. It was a short version of his full name. Can't remember what it was. They knew it would annoy the referee calling him that but didn't care .
