The avuncular one
one of those odd statements in the LOTG. A named sub enters the fop without permission, gets his caution for USB - is ordered to leave the fop.
Situation; You have stopped the game for a substitution to be made and allowed a player to leave the fop. The substitute is an idiot and wanders on without permission. You caution him. Would you then order him off again even though the departing player has, well, departed
Seems a little nonsensical. It also mentions substituted players; makes perfect sense for him to get sent off the pitch as he shouldn't be there.
I have always thought that part of the law refers to players wandering on when the game is live so that they have an extra player on the pitch.
Thoughts?
