Sunday Cup

Just back from refereeing my first Sunday game of the season, I usually just do Saturdays. I knew it was going to be one sided after looking up both teams on Full Time but I approached it with an open mind. The "stronger" team won 10-2 after being 8-0 up at half time but their behaviour deteriorated in the second half and at 9-2 up managed to pick up 2 sin bins and a caution for a foul. Some days you really do wonder why you do it.

I gave up Sunday football for this reason. Some teams are absolutely fine but I definitely got more grief on a Sunday than a Saturday. I simply got fed up of it

I gave up Sundays as my knees can’t take both days. If I get Sunday Cup games I close the Saturday. However, Sunday had to be the one to go; it’s not great.
