It's a bizarre OG and pretty embarrassing for the keeper. However, he is by no means the first to do this - I've seen several similar incidents over the years. Famously Gary Sprake of Leeds United did it but there are a few others if you look on You Tube.
 
Surely the best own goal ever will remain with lee dixon when he chipped david seaman from outside the area?

Maybe, but you'd also have to go some to beat Jamie Pollock's effort that, to add insult to injury, basically relegated his team at the time, Man City.
