Yes, but the economic advantage to the clubs, and the premier league is too great the pass the idea by. I personally think that this would be a good time to asses referees that are on the brink of the select group to see if they are ready and to give them an experience of refereeing internationally which could inspire some drive for them to try and get FIFA badges and to progress to the highest level and therefore improve the quality of the refereeing in the top flight.
