VAR offers goal for Sevilla FC

In the final of the Spanish Super Cup, the assistant referee to decide an offside against Sevilla FC in the 8th minute, the VAR team quickly took matters in hand to make a quick check and offer a first goal for this team.
It is a first in Spain this use of the VAR during a match and will be present for all competitions this year.

Well, there will be a few top flight Spanish ARs keeping their flags down after that!

Looked very difficult in real time as the defender moved up so quick. Ideally AR would have been mindful of flash lag and kept the flag down in normal top flight circumstances.

Well they all won't be that easy, so I guess it's nice the first VAR decision in Spain was black and white.
