Nah in all seriousness she knows the whack that pro refs are on, hence she is happy for me to abandon ship twice a weekend and once or twice midweek in the hope of it happening to myself!

Marriage - she wants to do things on a Saturday, thus reducing your availability;
Kids - even less time as you need to referee;

Self employed so it goes through the books, and adds to me tax deducable loss each year.

Last year reffing made me around £3k loss, what with match day expenses on top, going to conference etc

What do I spend it on? It's part of my wages, so - life!
