What is the best time to observe a minutes silence?

Tomorrow I have been asked to observe a minutes silence for an old club man who has sadly passed away. What is your running order of when to fit in the minute silence, before or after the respect handshakes?

The Referee Store
I normally do this after both the handshakes (if applicable) AND the coin-toss. This is in case the teams want to turn things round. Once that's done, silence with the teams stationed around the centre circle. Then it is a smooth transition to kick-off.

At top levels they always do last, they go straight from minutes silence to kick off.

Therefore, respect handshake, coin toss and (at some youth matches) card check are all done before.

That makes sense, many thanks

Starting 11 only around the centre-circle. Otherwise everyman and his dog will want on the pitch.
Everyone else can observe from the sidelines
