A&H International send out a Laws of the Game quiz every Sunday via email.
One question got me stumped from this weeks quiz, am I missing something very obvious?
Q - During a free kick, the kicker lifts the ball by touching it with both feet simultaneously to pass it to a teammate. The teammate shoots and scores. What is the decision?
A - A. Goal is awarded
B. IDFK to defending team
C. Retake
I chose A - goal is awarded.
It says the correct answer is B.
Looking on IFAB, Law 13 states “A free kick can be taken by lifting the ball with a foot or both feet simultaneously.”
Where am I going wrong?
Thanks
