I had one a few weeks back. Adult league. Team not used to losing playing like garbage. Their right back has committed two pk fouls already (awarded). Half way through the 2nd half attacker driving up the center of the 18 straight at goal. Defender hits him from behind/side committing a clear foul BUT attacker fights to stay on feet. Attempts an off balance shot (due to the foul) which I wait a second to see the impact had on the attacker. Shot is so bad it goes parallel to goal line. When I see impact foul had, I blow the PK. Cue the players losing their minds (this is a team that has received several YC for dissent in the season). I have reflected on this one often but am still convinced I did the right thing. Gave 3 YC after this (dissent and unsporting to that team and reckless tackle to other team). One of those games
