Do you mean middles, lines, or both?Just wondering how many fixtures Level 4 refs usually do in a season. I’ve done 22 so far and want to check if that’s a lot.
Just middlesDo you mean middles, lines, or both?
70How many are in your pool, out of curiosity?
6 or 7 lines a month?!Don't think it has changed much over the years, and I've always said to those going for L4 to assume they will only get one step 5/6 middle a month. Might pick up extras through rearranged games, cry offs, etc, and FA / CFA competitions, but not to go into it assuming you'll be in the middle every week as it is very unlikely. From memory my typical breakdown was around 1 to 2 middles and 6 to 7 lines a month.

| 16/17 | 2.67 | 1.89 |
| 17/18 | 2.44 | 3 |
| 18/19 | 2.22 | 2.56 |
| 19/20 (+20/21) | 2.3 | 2.3 |
| 21/22 | 2.67 | 1.67 |
| 22/23 | 2.89 | 2.11 |
| 23/24 | 2 | 1.57 |
May be a London thing, there are a huge number of step 3 and 4 clubs within easy travelling distance of me. I also got a lot of late replacement appointments, presumably because of the proximity to so many clubs.6 or 7 lines a month?!I've gone through and worked out my monthly averages for each season I was active at L4 - only ever happened twice that I had five lines in one month, same goes for middles.
