Yeah I would have probably given yellow but I wont argue with a red. Orange?

Yeah seems a bit harsh to me; I wasn't thinking ouch that's cringe worthy nor did it seem to be excessive.... does the fact that he slid from the back play a factor for the ref u think?

I don't see any red here. Not much force involved. I'm not convinced it hurt anywhere near as much as the yellow player is making it out to - hopefully the ref didn't get conned by some acting.

Yellow, its reckless at worst
No force involved, no speed in challange, ball was within playing distance, player is not out of control with his tackle, there is no brutality used here, its just a run of the mill typically tad too late foul.

Without seeing the rest of the match, and then this was the "tipping point" judging it is difficult.
Unless it was revenge for something earlier, then I would have expected YC.
