Kick off taken by Gayle who was a good yard inside oppositions half when whistle blown !New season on. Dig the purple referee shirts.....
Let's see what arises.
I think he had a lot to do, players coming ball had a way to fall, yellow card for me.Was that a DOGSO?, push outside box, only YC.
Perez had the skill to bring down and score...
How can it have been a DOGSO when he hasn't controlled the ball before the foul ?I think he had a lot to do, players coming ball had a way to fall, yellow card for me.
that's worrying coming from a level 4 if i'm honest ...
How can it have been a DOGSO when he hasn't controlled the ball before the foul ?
It's not what i would assume (is probably what i should have added!)
I then retract my comment, apologies lol
ohhhh ... then I think we are looking at a bit of a different scenario ... depends if he has obviously bundled the attacker to prevent him getting the ball or he has made a genuine attempt to get the ball first?
No difference. Exact same considerations apply. In this instance i think it's definitely a yellow card,
however, in a not so dissimilar example (as hinted too above), what if the pass, rather than being a cross field ball in the air, was actually a square pass along the ground and the defender still bundles the attacker to the ground before he has had chance to control the ball?
Same challenge as the one were talking about, just from an easy to control pass along the floor...
No difference. Exact same considerations apply.
Likelihood was pretty small judging by the rest of the game !Control was never a prerequisite. You need to look at likelihood of control and whether he'll have an OGSO when he does.
